Volunteer with BOP

Are you curious about fruit and nut trees or an experienced orchardist wanting to get involved? BOP can help connect you with orchards in your neighborhoods regardless of your personal skill level.

Fill out this brief survey so that we can connect you with the orchard that’s right for you!

Volunteer Interest Form

If you’d like to volunteer at a specific event, check out our Meetup for a list of upcoming opportunities.

If you have specialized skills that you’re interested in sharing with BOP (i.e. graphic design, teaching, landscape architecture, event planning, fundraising) please contact Gwen Kokes at info@baltimoreorchard.org to talk about possible projects.

All Civic Works volunteers are required to fill out our volunteer waiver. If you’d like to fill it out online before you come to a volunteer event you can find it here: https://civicworks.com/waiver

Become an Orchard Steward:

Orchard Stewards are some of BOP’s most committed long term volunteers. Through a combination of workshop and field learning, our Orchard Stewards gain all the skills that they need to care for fruit trees year round. You can find more information on the program on our stewardship page.

Lead a Workshop:

Are you interested in sharing a specialized skill with BOP and the Baltimore orcharding community? Contact Gwen Kokes at info@baltimoreorchard.org to discuss the possibility of leading a workshop.

See What We’re Doing:
